Richard St-Pierre has more than 30 years experience kayaking, canoeing, backcountry hiking, scrambling, technical mountaineering, rock-climbing, skiing (tele, alpine, nordic) and snowshoeing. He has been on numerous one to many-day trips in many of western Canada's National and Provincial Parks, northern Saskatchewan, on B.C.'s West Coast, and in other countries including Austria, Australia, Botswana, Chile, Costa Rica, Spain, Swaziland and Switzerland.
